Here is how i am working to create the different body parts of the model, using fake colors to better see each mesh sections.

Once everything is looking good, then i can apply symmetry and subdivision surface (requires to use quads for better result).

I have a few more onto my back burner, version 2.5 being such a bless to produce nice looking HP models ;)
