I love beautiful trees, and i am sculpting my juniperus virginiana to look like pompom girls.

Wow Patrice,

You are a perfectionist. You scenery looks luxurious in all respects. :)

Do you like flowers? And I wonder how your palm-tree doesn't freeze in winter time...

This kind of palm-tree can resist -15° (as long as it is not so cold for too long).

See the tallest sequoia tree i have by me (more than 30 m high), they were here long before me, and they will be there probably long after me.

A little history:

My house has been built in the park of a 18 century castle that has been destroyed almost 30 years ago, but they kept the existing trees from the park.

In my area, most of the aristocrats who fought with Lafayette during the American Revolutionary War, bring back with them sequoia's seeds that they planted in their castle to remember the future generations that they have fought for the US independence.

And the reason why these giants are around me, is because we first fall in love of them at the time we bought our house.

The trees are beautiful, Patrice. It probably takes quite a bit of your time and effort to keep the landscape clean and tidy. Not an easy job to do, from my own experience, and especially for an aged person.

Yes, you guess it right, and especially this spring because of my twisted foot  :-[

But this is also the only way to force me to stay away from my keyboard for a couple hours (ask my wife), and that helps to keep me slim :)

How do you warm you house in winter? Is it central heating (water), electricity, gas, coal, or peat bricks?

I would say that they have been very lucky, because the Croatian team took control of the ball for almost 70% of the time.

I am not a big fan of mediatic sport competition, too much money, and too much hooligan excess in most of the football confrontation.
And i am agoraphobic myself...

I don't feel myself comfortable on balconies higher than three storeys above the ground. However three or four shots of whiskey can usually bring me to a don't-care state. ;)
