There is still a missing pilot in the cockpit, but the result is already looking so good that i couldn't resist to post the WIP...

Very, very nice! :)

However I have a rather strong feeling that both models' normals weren't baked from a higher-res LOD but rather hand-painted in Photoshop as-is. That's why the orientation of bumps and cavities isn't uniform throughout each model as seen in the material surface inspection mode. Yet the overall look is good enough, and emission, excellent. Let's leave the normals alone as they are. :)

I may have found a solution for the normal texture that looks more crisp to me, coming soon...

But there's no body_bump there at all? :o

No, I'm sorry but I'd rather use the original body_bump than neutral_bump. This all aluminum bumpless spaceship might look exceptionally good to those who haven't seen it bumpy. But that's not my case, so I've added the original bump map as my personal preference. ::)

There are too many errors in the original, but i have a better compromise on my back burner, i still have a few things to fix that should be done by tomorrow.

Now tell me how you managed to fix the normal map. :)

I managed to do this with Photoshop, i first converted body_KA to RGB, then i used the NVIDIA filter.

That was the only way to get thin lines and small details on flat surfaces, without all the normal errors from the original texture set.

You can try also with the attached Crazybump version.

Both are good enough for me compared to the original. But your final one does seem a little better. :)

I have completed the Dvergr model, and there is now a pilot inside of the cockpit.
