I made the error to drag and .obj file on VS2017 rather than ObjReader, and see the result  :o

I never suspected it was possible though I knew MS VS can show DDS images and other resources through D&D.

OTOH if the MS VSCode editor can show glTF (Sketchfab) models then why MS VS shouldn't show .OBJ files? ;)

BTW that feature has been supported for many years now. See your balls.obj in my VS2013 below:
