Title: ObjReader 32-bit version
Post by: Patrice Terrier on August 06, 2019, 05:29:03 pm
To Mike Di (MD)

ObjReader 32-bit (written in PowerBASIC) has been discontinued since may 2016.
Most of the latest 3D models from the collection(s) have been designed for the 64-bit version, that is now light years ahead of it.

Moreover the latest nVIDIA drivers are available only for 64-bit, and the shader code has been totaly revisited by Mike (MLL), and the Programmable Pipeline (PPL) has taken precedence over Fixed Function Pipeline (FFP), to benefit of hardware improvements, and making heavy use of the GPU memory rather than conventional FPU memory.

The whole interface has been also greatly improved to support all the goodies that have been added into the 64-bit version.

If you still want to play with the 32-bit version, i have attached a copy of my latest PowerBASIC backup to try on XP.
